6 Months Pregnant

6 Months Pregnant

24 Weeks Pregnant
I've got the Dr's OK to keep going upside down until I hit the 3rd trimester, so starting December I will be grounded :-(

Hudson as Catboy!

 Pumpkin Carving

Okay, now I feel pregnant!  This baby and my belly are growing by the minute.  I'm officially uncomfortable. Everything is getting harder. And, I still have 3 1/2 months to go!  And... I'm pretty tired of having to pee. all. of. the. time!  I don't know if it's because both of my babies have been boys, but I carry low. Painfully low. I guess the upside to that is that I can breathe!  I have friends that carry high and complain their lungs are crushed. Not sure which is better.  Otherwise baby and I are both doing great.  At this point I was starting to have complications with Hudson.  My blood pressure and swelling were creeping up.  I've been trying to be active and super healthy this time around to try and stay in the clear, but they don't really know what causes pre-ecampsia and I am at greater risk having had it the first time around.  If I can avoid it, my pregnancy and post delivery will be so much more enjoyable!  I am starting to get leg cramps though, which is something I never got with Hudson.  Overall, this pregnancy is so different.

Hudson update:  He ROCKED Halloween!  He was so excited for days to get to be "Catboy" one of his favorite cartoon characters. And he totally "got" Halloween this year.  They must have talked about it a lot at school, because Jason and I didn't explain it at all.  But he was pumped for the big day!  He was excited to wear his costume, and super excited to trick or treat.  He worked the system pretty quickly and grabbed multiple pieces of candy at each house.  I guess he was too cute to tell him to put it back.  We eventually caught on, but his little pumpkin was too heavy for him to hold by the end of the night!  Even the scary houses didn't phase him.  And we are SO lucky, because I'm SURE we wont get away with this next year... he forgot ALL about his candy by the next morning.  He doesn't eat candy yet, so it was pretty easy, but it could have been a new battle if he'd realized! Jason and I did our best to destroy the evidence as quick as possible.

School soccer lessons have ended. He loved playing and talks about soccer all the time so we just signed him up for a Winter league at a park nearby.  He will start soccer this Saturday until January.  It's perfect because its at a park we usually go to on the weekends to tire him out anyway and only a few minutes from the house.  Now we can do his lesson and then let him play at the park or the pool/ waterpark in the same complex.  I was thinking about it this morning and I am so grateful for where we've made our home.  I love where we live. I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to raise my children.  So much of our lives exist within a 15 minute radius. With both Jason and I working close to home, and Hudson's school being close by, and so much to do just a few minutes from the house.  Not to mention the cul de sac full of kids and parental support. It's pretty awesome.
