Another Due Date Come And Gone

Another Not So Due Date

Well, its official. Her due date has come and gone. Just like the boys'. All of my children are stubborn it appears. I knew this was probably going to be the case from the beginning. And yet, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still a little disappointed. I'm done being pregnant. I'm overstretched, uncomfortable, tired, and hurting. I'm ready to meet this little girl. I know at most I'm only days away from meeting her and yet it feels like it is never going to happen.

There is so much in my life that I have no control over right now. With the COVID-19 stuff, and not knowing when I will have this baby. It is hard to just let go. Just trying to hang on for these last few days. My next Dr's appointment is Thursday, so if she isn't here by then I will have to make some harder decisions. Hoping she will come on her own because I hate hard decisions! Or any decisions!

Next post will be Arbor's birth story! Can't wait to see when and what it is!

Final Countdown - Weston Turns 3

Waiting for Arbor to Arrive

I made it. 9 long months. Down to the countdown of the last few days. Of course she could come any day before or after, we'll just have to wait and see!
At this point I'm just trying to take in these last moments. I am (very!) uncomfortable. I can't sleep. I'm tired of having to pee every 5 minutes. But... this is the last time I will ever be pregnant. So, trying to enjoy the special moments in between the hard ones. Any day now I will have another birth story to share, a newborn baby, and a family of five. Life as we know it is about to change forever, again!

Weston turned 3!

February 27, 2020

Weight: 22 lbs   Height: 35"

Weston got to celebrate his birthday twice this year.
OK Yes, Mommy just wanted more excuses to eat cake ;-)
We had a birthday here at home, and another one at Grandma and Grandpa's. We were supposed to celebrate both boys with a trip to Legoland. We made it down to Carlsbad, but sadly Legoland shut down just days before we got there. We have an IOU trip schedule for whenever the world resumes.

Hudson got to do an early birthday celebration with one of his besties while we were in Carlsbad!

Nesting

Arbor's room is ready to go! We didn't get to adding closets to her room, which I was really hoping to get to. That project will have to follow in the next few months.

Weston got upgraded to a big boy room!

Drop Zone:

Feeling the need for more organization in our lives my nesting instincts kicked into gear and this happened. Feels so much better!

 Snow Days in Spring!
We didn't end up getting a lot of snow this year, but we have had a few random spring snow days! Snow is always fun!

2019 In Review... Happy 2020!

Another year has come and gone and I missed posting most of it.  I don't know where the time went this year. We were busy and it just flew by! Here's a quick summary to get me caught up:

Hudson turned 5

April 29, 2019

Weight: 34 lbs   Height: 41"

For Hudson's birthday we made a trip to CA and spent 3 days at Disneyland! The first day Weston joined us for his first Disney trip. He loved it! The second two days Hudson spent with his childhood besties.

Chewy!

Summer Time

Lots of pool days this year and a trip to the lake when Grandma Janine visited

Mom & Dad went on an Epic 3 week vacation in July!

.....and so did they kids :)

While we were off exploring Europe for 3 weeks, the boys had their own vacation at Grandma & Grandpa's.

Jason and I fly into London and spent the first few days at Kyle and Ashley's. They took us to Cambridge and around some local sights. Then Kyle, Ashley, Aubry, Jason and I took the Eurostar to Amsterdam where we spent 2.5 days touring the city and Holland. After that Jason and I boarded a ship in Amsterdam and took off on a cruise. We went to Cork, Ireland, then 2 days in Dublin, then Liverpool to Belfast, to Cherbourg, France, Paris, back to London for a day, Bruges, and finally back to Amsterdam where we got back on the Eurostar and met up with Kyle and Ashley in London for one last day in London before we fly back to LA.

Hudson started Kindergarten!

August 19th

Starting Elementary school felt like a big change. The kids are in different schools now, and Hudson has school breaks and days off to figure out. Homework, and reading and adjustments I just couldn't anticipate. But he's doing so great and learning so much! We are so proud of him.

We're having a baby... GIRL!

Hudson and Weston are getting a little sister! We are excitedly expecting Arbor Sage Villoria to join our family in April 2020. Hudson has been asking for a baby sister for years. Weston will hopefully be on board by April ;-)
We found out in August I was pregnant, and learned at the end of September that this one would be a GIRL!

18 weeks

I'm just not one of those women who LOVES being pregnant. I wish I was. I struggled with feeling guilty about it the first time around. The second time I tried to make the best of it. And if I'm being honest what's getting me through this one is reminding myself daily that this is the LAST time. I just need to get through these 40 weeks. I was SO sick for the first 14 weeks. So much sicker than I ever was with the boys. Just when I thought I couldn't do it, couldn't make it through the nausea subsided and the blissful second trimester kicked in. Overall its been fine. The usual growing pains and discomfort. And the daily "I think I can" pep talk to see my way to the end.

Weston started Soccer

Weston started the soccer program at school this Fall. This is the same program Hudson did in Preschool. From the sounds of it, Weston loves it and is doing great!

Hudson's Skiing

We started the season off with 3 consecutive weeks of ski lessons. Hudson did great!

Weston came along to cheer on his big bro

We did a family ski day over Thanksgiving weekend. Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad and Hudson skied Mt Rose. Hudson did his first ski lift and full runs and did so so good!

Dear Santa

Hudson asked for Pokemon cards and Weston asked for Candy.

Santa (more than) Delivered

Hudson and Weston got bikes from Santa, and Pokemon cards and candy too of course.
And Mom and Dad and Grandmas and Grandpa went a little overboard on the gifts this year. But it was so fun!

We finished out the year with a busy trip to CA. Visiting family and friends as much as we could in one quick fun filled week. It was so great to see everyone and the boys had a great time. They spent the rest of winter break at Grandma and Grandpa's while Jason and I came home to work and start tackling the baby room. Weston got a "big boy" room upgrade to start the new year. Mom is still painting Arbor's room. Pictures to follow when it's done.

2020 is sure to bring a lot of change! We are excited and slightly terrified of all that is to come! But looking forward to it!

Happy New Year!

xoxo
